Tights for big women

Where's the best place for tall, fat women to buy tights? Aristoc make very wide bodies with short legs, and the quality is poor; Tesco make good legs but the bodies are very short (are all Tesco shoppers under 5'5"?); Pretty Polly used to be good but I haven't seen them for ages, Silkies were once the best but are very expensive and the quality has dropped badly lately - if I'm paying over �4.50 for a pair of tights, I'd like them to last more than one day. Any suggestions?

I am a tall lady at 5'9", and although not fat I am well built!.  I gave up wearing tights years ago because they were so uncomfortable.  So I live in trousers and when I have to wear a skirt or dress for a formal occasional I make sure it is long enough not to have to bother wearing tights.  The freedom is amazing!  Never again will I buy tights.

There is (I'm sure they are still available) a range called Golden Lady (I think that's what they were).  They sell them in Asda and I found them to be very good in both leg length and in the body.  They weren't that expensive either.
