noddy, sorry to hear you have the flu bug - what a nuisance! I don't have sensitive teeth/gums yet, but looking on the Sonicare website, the Sonicare Elite 7500, that says it can reverse gum disease/gingivitis.
My Braun battery tooth brush was only a few quid from Lloyds Chemist, or Wilkinsons. Perhaps you give one of those a try first. I hope you'll be feeling better soon.

I bought a Braun Oral-B rechargeable toothbrush from Wilkinsons, about 18 months ago (approx. �12). As it's put on the charger every day, you know that it's always working on full power when you use it. Much better than my old battery powered toothbrush. You can also buy the soft toothbrush heads for sensitive teeth.
