What gifts should I buy for family members I rarely visit?
1 Answers
I'm visiting my uncle and aunt in France soon and I've only been there twice in the last 20 years. I'm going to get gifts for them and their son and daughter but I don't know them well enough to choose. They are in their 50s and their kids are early 20s.
Any help would be appreciated, my budget is flexible, but not too much (I'm not sure what's "polite" to spend?)

Maybe a little scenic picture by a local artist or some local cheese or something- Sorry, don't know where you are from or if they are originally from the same area so difficult to suggest.
For instance I am from Scotland, so I would get the uncle a nice bottle of Malt Whisky, the aunt a small piece of shetland silver jewelry, the son maybe a Scotland t-shirt and some Tablet or Edinburgh Rock and the daughter a Radley purse as they have the little Scottie dog on them.
