So my iron fell on the kitchen floor (as they do).

I sent Olive off to choose a new one.

I now own an iron which looks like the Starship Enterprise !!!

Just how many light, switches, buttons etc does an iron need?

Surely an iron only has 3 functions ...

1. Get hot

2. Stop magazine flapping closed when eating lunch.

3. Door stop.

Don't forget intruder-clonker! First thing that came to hand when I first got married, somebody was trying to get in the back door at 2.30am and i shouted come through there and I'll hit you with the iron! whoever it was scooted!!

out the washing machine, give em a shake and hang them up to dry, voila dry clothers with not many creases in.......

Did you know JJ you can utilize your type of iron also as a phone, but you have to have it switched on for a few minutes first...LOL!
