Can anyone recommend a set of reins for my 17 month old granddaughter? I've had a look on the web but reading the various reviews they all seem to be too small for winter wear and the straps are too short. Thanks.

ive had these for both of my children as i found reins too restricting for them.

Thanks redcrx, I saw these but I think she's too young to happily carry one of these around at the moment. I really just want decent sized good old fashioned reins.
my two were younger, there is no real weight in the backpack at all

for just standard reins then try mothercare, i always find the traditional reins too short and easily got twisted when i used them, which is why i went for the little life ones

Thanks redcrx.
We have the littlelife bee daysack for our daughter who is 21 months old. She has had it/used it for about 6 months now and absolutely loves it! As redcrx said, there is no weight to it. Cheapest I found was at www.wiggle.co.uk http://www.wiggle.co....l_Daysack/5360034009/
