Shoulder bag help please!

I bought a lovely shoulder bag, however it is driving me mad because the shoulder strap leather is shiny.

This means the bag slips off my shoulder all the time.

Ages ago I saw some strips in Fenwick that you stick on the strap and that stops it sliding off your shoulder.

Does anyone know what these are called please? Tried googling shouder strap strips and got some very odd results!!

Or do you have any ideas on how to stop this?

Get a bit of stick-on velcro and stick the hooky side on the underside of the strap - you have to watch you don't wear it with delicate clothing though, or it will make your top bobble where it touches it.
