Portable dvd player

Hi, ive found one of the above for 50.00, does anyone know if i can get one cheaper than this as its only to use while flying as easy jet has no inflight entertainment. x

£50 is about the cheapest you're likely to pay for a brand new portable DVD player. (£49.99 in Argos. £47.99 on eBuyer.com).

However Amazon Marketplace has some 'Used - Like New' Sony models (in pink!) available for £31.38 on a 'fulfilled by Amazon' basis (so you get the benefits of Amazon's customer service policies), together with free delivery:

do any of you have an ipod? My children downloaded a couple of films and they watched them via headphones, on the plane. You can get double ones so that two can hear at the same time.

Crisgal we dont own and ipod, but thank you for trying to help, dont know how we are going to keep her occupied, she is a very bight 2.5 yr old so she wont be happy with just sitting in her seat colouring, or doing sticker books. xx

OH!!!

A thousand apologies! I thought that the Sony model was simply shown in its closed position. I didn't realise that such a small model wasn't a portable one. (I really must learn to open a bottle before I start typing. I only seem to make silly errors when I'm sober!).

PS: Sometimes just reading stories to youngsters can keep them quiet (and you sane) for long periods. One of the best trips I had on Eurostar was when the Mum in the seat in front of me was reading stories (all of the way from Paris to London) to her two young kids. The children loved them - and so did ! ;-)

From Tamirra's earlier thread and from checking the easyJet website, Crisgal, the flight (from Gatwick to Paphos) will take 4 hours 30 minutes.

Yes 4.5 hrs, which is a long time for a little one, plus for the toddler lol x

Off topic with this. When a flights taking off and landing you're supposed to swallow to help protect your ears.
Little children wouldn't know to do that. Could their ears be harmed?

As for the ears on taking off its fine if you give them a drink in a sipper cup cos its the same motion as chewing it keeps ear drum clear, and Tesco is a good price, thanks for that. x
