There aren't many places around where I live where you can buy watches from, so what reputable online shops should I look at?

I've looked through; argos, hsamuels and qvc.

How reliable do you think the watches from amazon and ebay will be?

QVC

I like this one from ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...L&hash=item230a075528

I looked at qvc but there weren't any in our price range that I liked.

and this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk...L&hash=item35ac4acacb plus because its 23 c gold, I should be ok with it.
molly it's not 23 carat gold!! it is 23 carat gold plated x
personally i would not buy any jewellery (with the possible exception of earrings) that i had not seen and tried on. For example it says "double clasp for easy adjustment" but if you have a small wrist or large wrist, how do you know it'll fit you? a watch looks stupid if it's just scooting round your wrist. At least with a link-type watch if you are buying in a shop you can see if it fits.
If you just have an ordinary strap it dosen't matter though
Question Author
I know but if i'm not wearing it very often, it won't rub away quickly will it.
What about this one:

http://www.asos.com/F...8583&SearchQuery=gold watch&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=3&clr=Gold
maybe molly i don't tend to buy watches i have not seen , the 23c g plated one , has a 19 cm strap which can be shortened though

That's quite nice annie, but i'm looking at the other things on asos, I like these;

http://www.asos.com/A...=20&sort=-1&clr=Cream

http://www.asos.com/M...=200&sort=-1&clr=Gold But I don't think that one's style would be quite right for all formal events.

And i like this one, and it says you can make a note with your order, of your wrist size and they'll adjust it for you, or refund you up to £5 if you have to take it to a jewellers to have it adjusted- not bad.
the neat thing about qvc is that you have 30 days to decide if you like it or not

Yeah my dad has an account with them, that why I had a look.
