Perfume choice?

I have no sense of smell but want to buy a new perfume, any advice on which one?
I'd like a day wear one, not too flowery or sweet, maybe with a hint of spice/ginger/musk or similar.

I can't really help, wheaten, perfume doesn't "stay" on me - the only one I get on with is Paloma.

Sisley No 1 or 3. Not too overpowering with any one type of aroma

Issay Miyake (think that's how you spell it) is a nice musky smell.

Original Ghost is lovely, perfume doesn't seem to last on me but this one does, AMor AMor is another one that lasts too.

If you have no sense of smell, how do you know what ginger smells like and can you taste food?

OH bought me Ange ou Demon by Givenchy - a long time favourite - at BHX recently. Very feminine, soft, musky and mysterious.
