I wondered if anyone knew of a duvet that would fit easily onto a sleigh bed or a bed that has a foot board. A standard quilt either has to be tucked into the bottom or sits on a lump at the bottom of the bed. A friend tells me that on the continent, quilts very often have a length of fabric which is used to tuck into the end and the quilt is a little bit shorter in the length so that it's not too long. I've tried searching on the web but can't seem to find anything like that available in this country. Can anyone help? Thank you (also posted in shopping)

Don't you like to tuck the duvet in between the matress and the foot board?

It keeps your feet cosy!

I like the duvet tucked in at the bottom.

I don't mind the duvet tucket in. This is something my hubby objects to for some reason :-)
Because he likes his feet cool ?

I don't like the feeling when I snuggle the duvet round my neck, and it comes up off my feet.
I have a bed with a 'footboard'.......during the day I put a quilted throw over the bottom of the bed so it looks tidy.
