Long leg jeans

I'm realising that buying jeans for my tall teenagers is a nigh on impossible task. He needs a 36/37" inside leg, but is only a 34" waist. All the shops that cater to tall men only seem to do jeans that will fit a bigger man, not the slim 16yr old I have. The few that I have found online seem to be comfort fit (not what he wants) or £75+ which I can't afford. HELP! - anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried GAP ?

They have several different fits, so you can buy a "skinny" fit in a bigger size.

Have you tried Jacamo? My little brother is coming up to 17 and and has sized 14 feet, so I think he goes to them.

I really feel your son's pain; I was a 36" inside leg when I was 14 and had to wear men's jeans and my mum had to make my trousers. There's definitely more out there now, but I'll keep you posted if I find anything else. :)

I sympathise too, I'm about that inside leg and a 32inch waist. The only jeans that I've found to fit really well are levis (but they are expensive)

The way teenage lads wear jeans these days, wouldn't an inside leg of 28'' be more than enough?

Topman do an extra long leg which is 36" and the stores can always order in sizes for you. try them

Thank you so much fellow tallies - fingers wearing out from much surfing! I think that there is light at the end of the tunnel! mrs_overall - we've tried Top Man without success. I think that there is definitely a niche market here - I can shop in LTS, Top Shop tall, Dotty P tall, New Look tall, Tall Girls etc, but it just doesn't seem as easily available for lads. We all still love being TALL though! :o)
