Not on price comparison websites

Does anyone know which insurance companies are not on price comparison websites?
I think Direct Line is one. Any others?

Incidentally, just because they are not on price comparison sites doesn't mean they are any chepaer. From experience, I have found them more expensive.

with the ones who are, you can still get cheaper deals sometimes by going directly.
Those comparison sites really cheese me off when i say i want certain features and they bring up what looks like a deal till I work out that the deal doesn't have the features I want grrrrrrrr!

Hi, got to agree with the others on this one. They are not on the comparison sites because if they were they would probably never get anyone going to them as they are usually the most expensive. I usually get the names off the comparison sites then do as woofgang says and go to the site directly and put info in again and usually get better deal. As EDDIE51 has noticed there is no such thing as 2 months free insurance either they put it on somewhere else. Most of us know insurance companies don't give anything away, there is always a catch somewhere.

Fraid I have to disagree the insurance company I work for offered a 14-4-12 offer. You paid your first 12 months every month, and then the following 2 months were free. No DD was taken, and the following 10 months were not ramped up to include that "loss"
The amount of people who rang up worried as we hadnt taken a premium in their free months though was staggering. People never read their insurance policies!!
