they're probably cancelling a lot of orders in this weather - how late do they leave it before informing you they'll be cancelling? do they offer to re-arrange?

Don't know jb.....I've got some due on the 23rd and if they don't show up I'm buggered.

I've got an order next week too, it saves an argument in the store but I'm now worried they won't turn up
mine was cancelled last christmas. They told me on the day and didn't re-arrange it. On top of that i had used some vouchers, and they didn't give them back to me!
Whats the weather forcast for next week where you are jb?

bednobs! I've used vouchers! god help me now!
You should have kicked up a stink about the vouchers Bednobs. The same thing happened to me last Feb and I had to put the order through again.

I had a delivery cancelled last winter......the call centre simply rang that day and said all deliveries had been cancelled. I rang the store itself and spoke to the manager, explained I was a pensioner living alone (my daughter was away in NZ) and the manager and one of the staff brought my shopping round in a private car.....they were brilliant.
When mine was cancelled they emailed me the day before.

That was good Craft. Jb, maybe you should inform them of your circumstances.
Delivery was expected early last Tuesday evening telephone call late Tuesday night informing us that all drivers called back due to weather conditions was asked to re arrange delivery slot, earliest available was on the 27th December early evening.Sainsbury's local store here we come
