What do I get my boyfriend for our first valentines?

I know it's early but I'm really stuck for ideas.
This will be me and my partners first valentines day together and I have no idea what to get him. He's 27 so not a teenager, a mans man and not into teddies, picture frames etc. We'll have been together a year by then and for his birthday and xmas I got him everything he wanted xbox, games, cd's etc but now I don't have a clue about valentines.
What I thought was he's a serious chocoholic and I know he's taking me away for a couple of nights so I thought a big box of Thorntons chocolates, Champagne, choc covered strawberries and a box full of things we could do together (sorry if this sounds graphic but dressing up clothes, handcuffs etc which I know he'll love) but stuck for other things

You dont have aq clue because you spoilt him at xmas. Why are you stuck for other things? Why do you need to buy him so much? me and my bloke dont really buy for eachother at valentines, just a card, same at xmas and our birhdays are so close togather there is no point. We just go out shopping together. Although last year I did get him his xbox live membership but thats because it was something he wanted. Does he like a certain band, maybe tickets to a gig for you both to enjoy a night out??
I'm coming up to my second with my girlfriend and what you're doing is pretty much, if not more, that what he'd be hoping for I'd guess, to use valentines day is it should be (although i agree with ummm whereby we shouldnt stick to a dedicated day) then it should just be about doing couply stuff, im sure he really just wants to spoil you! So all that filthy stuff, a card, and maybe a daft lil keepsake should more than suffice!
just a sexy thong and some chocolate body paint,,,,,would surely suffice lol
Why don't you do some free stuff which is even more romantic because alot of thought has gone into it like make a card or gift, bake him something, make him a CD of his favourite music, Create a treasure hunt round you flat/home with clues that lead to chocolates or love tokens,
trip to Cadburys factory, or a chocolate making course, or a home chocolate making kit, fountain, or chocolate fondue kit?

charchar. Some man dont like to be ofered gifts for xmax or flowers or teddies for valentines. Taking into account that you both have been together for 1 year or so it's time enough to consider living together? Probably this would sound as a best gift because this would be another step in your relationship where you both win! I wouldnt spoil a g/f with toys, flowers and any other gadget obviously if someone would offer me i would accept but would step myself back and think: "You are not trying to buy me, are you" ? The best gift would possible be those that you do together, such as go for a dinner, traveling, go to another country so you can sit back and relax or even watch a romantic dvd or any other. relationships in my opinion is not about ofering things and try to buy someone making her/his like you. Think twice and put yourself in the other side. good luck!
