The Citizen Eco-Drive Watch....
2 Answers
...which I bought just over six years ago has stopped. I've followed the instructions and left it for two days on the window sill to charge up and it restarted. But two days later it has stopped again. Citizen say the battery never needs replacement and should recharge .Do you think its repairable or is it time for a new watch. Does anyone have any knowledge of these watches or thoughts on the subject????

Don't forget they will charge with any light source...not just sunlight. In winter especially the sun is not strong enough to do the job..so you can leave them under an internal light source, the best would be a fluorescent or LED reading lamp (careful with halogen, they get hot).
The very comprehensive manual you get gives full details of light level required/ distance from source ...if your rechargeable battery is really that low, you would need many hours under really bright light to fully recharge.
The secret is ...never let the battery get low...keep it as fully charged as you can (as above) for best results.
