Hey, you crafty people.... I have just been sent a link from a serious craft website in the US, suggesting what crafty activities can benefit by using a skanky old toothbrush before you discard it altogether.

What would YOU suggest? (keep it clean!)

The worst use for old toothbrushes is to take an art class of twenty five children doing splatter painting.

"Keep it clean!"

Well, there goes my idea...
file down the end in Armoury Class and use as a dagger. Then clean your teeth with the other end.
Use an old tooth brush to clean old teeth?
Cleaning bathroom taps
Cleaning between bike gears
Cleaning weeds from between patio slabs
Cleaning Jewellery with brasso
Cleaning the dogs teeth
Paint effects on model railway set-ups/ diorama's

:-)
Peaspeculiars - but not the same toothbrush!
Jewellery with Brasso? ....
High-class jewels, then?!
Excellent for cleaning pc-keyboards - if that is a craft

And scratching acrylic paint for sky and sea effects, just as it's getting nice and tacky.
No, not the same toothbrush and not in that order! lol,
and cleaning jewellery with brasso (the silver polish type) - Not all of us are rich :-(

They suggest that you could also break off the brush end, make a hole in the stick that's left, file it down, and use it as a weaving shuttle.

Life's too short. Go buy a shuttle.
In the Army, we used them for cleaning the welts of our boots/shoes.
I still do it to this day.
