I'm thinking of festive paper hats to make the vegetarian Xmas dinner I've planned more fun.

I will buy treats for the food bank,  I also spend the contents of my change jar, just little things like soaps and shower gels, choccy biscuits and small selection boxes.  I don't celebrate Christmas  it I don't mind helping those that do.

We did a totally veggie Christmas dinner one year due to most of our guests (16 in all) being veggie, it was great and we had a lot of interesting food which everyone, including the dedicated meat eaters, enjoyed. 
We didn't need paper hats 😋

What is your menu? Cranberry nut roast, stuffing, roast parsnips and sweet potatoes, sprouts with "Baco Bits" and chestnuts, Vegan roast chicken roll and L McCartney sage and rosemary vegan sausage, gravy with sweet vermouth.

Due to family circumstances this year, we're home alone (hurrah!) so can please ourselves what we have, just pondering the choices. Might end up Buck's Fizz, bacon buttie, more Buck's Fizz, cheese and onion toastie, more Buck's Fizz (maybe a G&T thrown in somewhere), box of choccies, snooze, more snooze, family bag of cheese and crisps, bed.
