odd pub sign

didn't know where to post this,but here goes.Can anyone living in the Disley area of derbyshire,tell me why the white lion pub,has a picture of a zebra for it's sign.

I happen to know this as my left aunt lives near Disley, if you peer closely at the stripes then out will appear, a White Lion.

Ah ha! fooled you all - ho ho!! I've never been near Disley, and whoever's heard of someone having a 'Left Aunt'?

I've no idea why there's a zebra on the sign, it seems silly, and I now apologise for my stupid prank.
