I have been making cards for a few years now, have sold some too, but cant seem to keep up with all the occassions and work at the moment, so have only been making them for friends and family occassions.
I have a purpose built insulated and heated shed which has everything in it, perfect little hideaway when i get the time, had to get the space as all my stuff was taking over the front room making it look cluttered.
I tend to do a lot of decoupage, have also done some pergamano, but as this is more time consuming it is something i do when I want to do an extra special card.
Pergamano is a rewarding craft which I tend to seperate from cardmaking, I feel it is more of a fine art and the finishing result never fails to amaze, it is not difficult either, if you are able to trace and follow instructions, then you will pick it up in no time, the tools and parchment are inexpensive, the part I do tend to hesitate on is putting on the final colour when needed, just incase I make a mistake, although I never have yet, its just a worry I have sometimes.
