2 Answers
In july i am taking a group of young people camping for a week, they are aged between 11-18, mixed group. The day is fairly structed and one of the things that we do each day is sports, does anyone have any different team games that we can play, rather than the normal football, rounders etc. They will be in teams of 6. TIA

Two teams each in a line facing each other, with a gap of say 3 meters between them.
Place a bean bag or similar in the centre of the two teams and an equal distance from the end of the rows.
The teams are numbered from different ends, and on a whistle blow and the number called out, the team member of each team who have this number, race to the bean bag, and if they both arrive at the bean bag together have to circle around it until one can snatch it and run back to their position in their teams line, without being tagged by the other opponent.
Of course if one arrives at the bean bag before his opponent and managers to snatch the bag and get back to his team place all the better.
