Yorkshire Pottery

i am trying to identify the name of a pottery factory, I think based in leeds in the 1920s, that produced a type of glazed pottery in very bright bold colours, I had a planter belonging to my grandmother which one of my offspring managed to break several years ago, I would now like to trace a similar one . It was green and brown, and the green was like moulded raised leaves growing up the pot that almost made it look like a pinapple or similar, I know it was made in leeds in 1920 because I took it to an antique roadshow event one day and the expert told me the pottery factory name but I have forgotten, it was a Yorkshire name though i am pretty sure.

Hope someone can help out! I may look to see if the pot appears on any of the photos in my albums actually, cos it was always on the windowsill.

The only pottery in Yorkshire I can remember (I left some years ago) was Hornsea. But I don't think it was around Leeds or the 1920's.

hello again, thanks Robina and Frosty, I know Hornsea and Carlton and it was niether, i have found a picture of it in the background in one of my daughters christening party photos, the planter is a burnt orange and it looks like the green leaves of a cabbage are growing up the outside all around it, the leaves are moulded on so that they are so lifelike, it is about 9" high and the glaze is shiny, the mark on the bottom as I recall was I think either a dart or an arrow with the caoutal letters written geometrically in it.
