Just wondering what your Hobbies & Interests are?

Hi Smudge,ive been playing in a skittle team for the last 17 years in the ilfracombe and district league.i watch football and rugger.i love doing D.I.Y.downloading music!surfing the web .driving over exmoor.and i do all the cooking in our house which i enjoy.

Cinema and films, bowling (for fun), dog racing (again for fun!), reading, I go to the gym 2 - 3 times a week, I enjoy simple things like taking my neice/ nephew to the park, meeting my friends, cooking for people and going out to eat, and obviously when I have the money - shopping!

I like shopping (even when I don't have the money Nat), chilling out with my family and friends, going to the gym, reading, and I absoloutly LOVE babies! I have two nephews and two neices who, unfortunatly, live in the Middle East now, but I miss them sooo much! I say that I love babies, but someone once told me, you wont be saying that once you have your own!

Countryside and nature.  My pets, anything to do with animals in fact.  Music has high priority. I have recently taken up art again after many years.  Enjoy writing poetry and would like to do a Creative Writing course at some time.  Answerbank seems to take up a lot of my time as well at the moment - more of an addiction than a hobby!

 Hi Smudge I like to decorate which comes in handy as ive just bought a flat in scotland to do up and sell on, Im interested in interior design and did a years night class which I truly loved,I like to sew ,I make my own clothes,curtains and cushions.

I love to read it really relaxes me and I like anything by marian keyes(chick lit! )

I like to see my family as often as I can I adore my nephew who is one and a halfand my younger sister who I spoil everytime I see her.

I enjoy going out with my friends and partner and love to have a good boogie !

I enjoy all the soaps and love going to the cinema

I love to read too also watching films and going to the theatre, having a good old get together with the family is great as i have a pretty big family on my mums side and we always have such a laugh(bonfire night was certainly one to remember at my auntie's)i love speanidng time with friends and my partner and also love interior design which i hope to go on and study one day in the near future.I love my beauty therapy which i used to do for a job but unfortunately had to stop due to contact dermatitis hrumph! but giving advise for all that sort of stuff is very rewarding. Gosh i do waffle don't i lol!Surfing the net is always good as well cos you learn new stuff every day and can never get board at work with the net available if your board.

I like lots of things really, but my passions are.. playing the accordian, morris dancing, needlecraft, flower arranging, singing to my cats, talking to my houseplants and tree-hugging.  I had to give up the dancing now because of an unfortunate injury during a sword dance and a brief affair with the May Queen.  I still play the accordian though.

Where my mum lives there are two rival morris dancing groups, illegedly the only town in GB that has two Morris Dancing groups. It gets very messy, very dangerous and very jingly when they're all in the market square at the same time with bells on their fingers and sticks.

Steer well clear, those things become weapons and it can all get very ugly (and thats not just the bearded women)

My hobby is interviewing, and writing about pop and rock mnusicans, which is great because it combines my love of music and talking about it, with my uncurable nosiness! It also pays for itself, and keeps me in CD's, as well. Apart from that, I love cinema, listening to music, watching TV, reading, spending time with my family, and of course, the AB - as if you didn't know!

Octavius - Amazing! My dear old Dad was a professional accordion player. He started playing at aged 8 & went on to entertain lots of people in his life time, solo & in a band. He was a really handsome man with dark hair & chiselled looks & we have some fantastic photo's of him on stage, etc. His last accordion a 'Ranco' is now in the possession of my nephew John Gill, who lives in Perth WA & who is also a professional 'Rag Time' pianist & accordionist. I'll be back later with my hobbies folks, but I'm just looking after our little Granddaughter for an hour or so!

Listening to rock/metal music, watching TV, theatre, reading, wasting time on t'internet particularly the gossip boards at www.metalsludge.tv, going to rock clubs and gigs, fashion and shopping, and I aspire to be into photography but I'm something of an amateur at the moment!

Smudge - I play both the piano (120 bass) and 2-row button accordians.  I was bought up in the oirish tradition so my music is very diddly diddly!  Drives the gf poty!!  I don't play much these days and my 3 acordians are alas gathering dust.

I loooove going to watch live music. Mainly rock/metal/alternative although i did go to see Roni Size the other week (drum'n'bass) and a few ones i like to keep quite as it'll ruin my reputation (sophie ellis bextor and pink, shhhhhh!)

Inbetween participating on AB, I like: calligraphy - drawing -  flower arranging - gardening - wild bird watching - the fish pond - some DIY - walking -swimming - yoga - music. Oh & of course our family!

 

I lke to collect: Victorian/Edwardian memorabilia - fairies - pixies - cherubs - rustic/wooden owls - unusual wooden/pewter/unpolished bronze cats - thimbles. The list is endless!

Snow boarding is a passion. Football, vid games, anything really childish that I should have grown out of! And working because still sat here at 7 o clock when I could quite easily just stop!
