Hey everyone! I am senior president this year and our homecoming theme for school is Dancing Around the World. My class has American Dance and I was wondering how I could decorate my float and create somewhat of a performance out of it???
I was thinking something along the lines of graffiti and stuff and hip hop but i don't know. Please let me know all your ideas :)
THANKS!!

Hi there.
This is a UK site and we don't have class presidents/homecomings etc. We tend to ignore our children (unless they need a good thrashing) until they have left school and are earning a good wage.
You may have more luck posting on a US site.
Being British I have never seen the sort of things that you do at homecoming, but my immediate thought on seeing your question was native american dance.
lol at mrs_o, that made my face mask crack!
Our kids are packed off with Xmas & Easter Tuck box, to boarding school and hopefully, not bother us till next summer.

By then we will have sold up and moved.
What about some lindyhop? 1940s costume, GI look, something a bit lively.

Or what about square dancing?

Or even just plain old 50s rock'n'roll?

Say 'American Dance' to me and they're the first ones that come to mind.
how about people dressed one way...eg hip hop doing a different dance eg square dancing? Do two or three mixups like that?
