No this is not a massive flounce (much as I would love the "please stay BM" posts - all three of them). But we have decided to clear off for the week. Blackpool tomorrow followed by Scotland. Managed to find some swanky hotels which the OH (him being a scot and all that) negotiated a nice rate for.

Yeah I'm reckoning on needing waterproofs! But hey, its raining here. So rather be wet and going back to a 4* hotel than wet and going home (and then having to cook dinner, tidy up etc etc). Boy am I glad the BF had a "Eureka" moment at about 11am and decided that camping was a Sugar idea. Taken me weeks to win that particular argument!

We are going to Saltcoats, Fort William and Edinburgh (well Peebles actually after the Hydro there too a big wodge off their prices!).

Thanks Eddie - if it was just me and the OH I might take you up on it. But I wanted somewhere with a pool and stuff so I can tire the kids out and then retire to the bar!!!!!
