2011 census

If you are staying in a Hotel lodge or whatever on the 27th March, census night,
is the Manager or whoever in charge responsible to put you on their census form, because you are not at home?

I could barely get mine in the postbox this morning, all I could see through the slot was white & purple envelopes.

Yes the Manager is responsible - he doesn't need to involve you. The only bit of data he won't have unless he's asked is your date of birth and he can leave it out if he doen't know it.

You still need to do the form for your home address.

same as when they deliver those lovely 'go straight to the bin don't pass go' leaflets, they get paid extra for delivering them

I filled mine and MIL in yesterday but then decided to do it online which seemed easier than filling it in by hand as it automatically went to different sections avoiding ones you didnt need.
