Holiday in Holland
9 Answers
We will be going to Sluis in a couple of weeks for a couple of weeks and wondered if there is anything we should be aware of when driving in holland or places we must visit, things we must do whils there? Although we have never been to Holland we are very familiar with driving in other parts of europe.

just the cyclists - ok they have plenty of cycle paths but when they are on roads and crossing them, thats when accidents occur - especially on turning right when they can be right in your blind spot.............and I am serious, clobbering them is not recommended.
Also, just like elsewhere, Dutch police do like to book foreigners (Germans being their favourite).
