Changing Ovi username on Nokia C7-00

How can I change the Ovi username on my nokia C7-00 to use the social network app?

I set the phone up at xmas, haven't changed anything but am now being told that my password is invalid.....I requested a reset and when that was emaied through I noticed that the username was similar but different. I can sign into Ovi on my laptop using the new username and password but can't figure out how to change the Ovi username on my mobile....help!

No. If you cancel your account you will have to wait up to 6 months before you can create a new account using the same phone number.

You can renew your account though by changing the phone number in the old account into a random number and then create a new account with your phone number.

Note: You must select the random phone number making sure it does not interfere with anyone else's phone number. To ensure this, you must enter a 17-digit phone number as the random phone number.<<<<<<

thanks....my question wasn't very clear - it was the username stored on my phone that I needed to change. There is a place to put the password but the username was programmed in when the phone was set up and there was no way of changing it without restoring factory settings....or not that I could find anyway!
