I'm having to rewrite my CV as I want to apply for a job that is very different to my last work - I have been off work for 2 years with a back injury, and because of this I'm changing work. Should I put this period of time on my CV, or include it in a cover letter?

at our company we ask for full working history explaining any gaps in cv.
you mayy as well as they probably ask, so at least you wont have have to explain
