PSP console

my daughter got a PSP console a while ago and never uses it. I suggested that she sell it on ebay but she said she can't as her ex boyfriend "hacked" it so that she could download games from the internet. Do you think this is right?

Alternatively do you think Game or Gamestation would be interested in purchasing it in it's present condition?

I take it you can't restore it to factory settings to undo what the ex boyfriend did?

It's a modified chipset that is fitted.
It can be sold as chipped tho.
Most Playstation owners into the tech. will understand the consequences and can make the decision to buy or not.
