Sending money to someone on the Isle Of Man

If i sent someone a Bank of England or Bank of Scotland �10 sterling note to someone who stays on the Isle Of Man would they be able to use the money?.For some reason i seem to think that the Isle of Man has there own type of currency or am i just imagining this?.

Hi GERRY, I live on the IOM and we do have our own currency but it is sterling so we still use Bank of England, Bank of Scotland and Bank of Ireland notes, will you be sending me the money :-) lol
