Greetings cards

Hello.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice of how to maybe send off designs/photo's for greeting's cards.

The thing that has started this is I took a photo of my 2 daughter's and as soon as I saw it I thought of a caption that would work brilliantly as a card. I have made up a few prototypes and I must admit I have had very good feedback off of people. It would seem a waste not to try something. 

I know that this must sound a bit "God one card and she think's she can make money!"  but I figured if anyone could kindly give me some advice on ways of going about of maybe getting it published etc.. I would be very greatful. I'm not expecting anything to come of it but Hey! if you don't try...

Get a current copy of the book called "Writer's Market."  (If you don't want to buy it, you can usually find it at your public library.)  They've got a section in there listing the various greeting card publishers along with their criteria for submissions and the contact information.  Good luck!

Getting yourself known in this large industry is very hard. I would suggest you either do it as a profitable hobby or you can actually sell your ideas to already established publishers until you get more experience ... try this website and good luck (http://www.greetingcardassociation.org.uk/artists.htm)
