Birthday night out help needed

Hi all

I'm planning a night out for my birthday and don't have a clue what to do.

I know I want to do a dress up evening but clubbing etc is out of the question as most of my mates are of a mature age.

Any help would be great

Have you got a local fancy dress shop? Have a theme, hire a hall!

1950s tea party at a hotel or something all in frocks with hats and gloves etc then maybe a trip to theatre to see something like 'dreamboats and petticoats

Meal out followed by wine bar. LBD is a good theme, and stylish too. Any age can wear LBD.

Boxtops - won't hire a hall as they'll only be about 15 of us.

They ain't that old 30's and just one in her 40's.

My sister did a fab thing for her birthday in feb they went to a grease sing along dressed as pink ladies which was a good giggle so looking for something along those lines.

For us younger ones I'm thinking paint balling but I know the lady in her 40's won't want that and one is pregnant so she can't, so just thought I'd do something a little extra to include everyone
