Patrick Moore's suits

Is he a very broad-shouldered man, or does he wear a jacket which is much too big for him?

I knew him personally in the late 60's and he was a very big man!

I think his ill-fitting suits are his trademark, but he is a great man, I've always loved 'the sky at night'

Sadly, 89 year old Sir Patrick died today.

Yes james - very sad - and the episode I saw was his last transmission, he worked right up to the end.

I have met him - he was a large man, but he did wear very big suits as well - all part of his eccentric charm.

My son looked on Sir Patrick as a hero, 'he mapped mars' was his response to the sad news today. I think to the younger generation there was alot of respect and admiration for him.
