Anyone know who the mystery voices are on Magic radio? You know if you worked for the radio station then you could anonymously be on this website and tell me.... then I can win the money - or at least try to beat everyone else to it!!!

I tried scanning for news Barbara .....we think the same !!! even thought that john t was in grease and mariah was in glitter so ther other person must be in a film starting with G ....maybe im going too far ...........Annette Bening was in American Beauty ...........and Hayley Mills was in the news just before it was launched as John Mills was ill .....then I think it was april ......his funeral ..................I can send you voices of both of them if you like .......just send me your email ......................good luck .........

I looked at the G connection, as in films, too. Trouble is I'm stuck on this Grease connection now. In Mariah Carey's video of Heartbreaker, she acts out the Sandra Dee scene in the bedroom from Grease, which then led me to Debbie Gibson being in the stage show of Grease. I'm sure we're thinking too deep now! I have the recording but its hard to tell if its an English accent or not when they only say one word. Oh well, we've got the weekend off to think about it - I'm just totally stumped now. I'll let you know if I get any more ideas :o)

Anybody have the secret to getting through on the phone?  It's driving me dotty!  I definitely have the right name (don't we all say that?!) and they could have had me for half price had I managed to get through weeks ago!  I have the number on redial and hit the button the second the DJ says dial now - and have tried split seconds before and after too! What does one have to do?!

Hi Klee ...ive asked this question and Barbara4003 has got through twice by dialling no later that 56 mins past the hour ..............I even set my alarm for 7 this morning so that I stood more chance of getting through but to no avail ..........its costing me a fortune ................

Klee - I also thought I definitely had the answer the first time I got through. Its very easy to think you have the right answer because you can make things fit, if you see what I mean.

Your clue - outside the box - do you mean box as in TV?

Ive got through 5 times, been picked twice now. All I can advise is to start dialing so that you get through dead on 56 mins. Once you have been trying for a minute - don't bother. Despite what their website says, the first 6 are picked in the first few seconds. Not worth wasting your money after that really.

Oh no Barbara... I was dialling with 2 phones for the 4pm guess and no luck!!  Now I have to listen to yet another person totally miss the mark... nobody is even close!   Gosh it would be awesome to win that boodle!

Well keep trying - I'm sure you will get through eventually. I'm intrigued by your clue tho!!! I was like that when I thought it was Samantha Sang - I kept screaming at the radio calling everyone all the stupid names under the sun! No doubt, exactly what you were doing when I was on air :o) So, this box .......... ;o)

As a telecoms expert, you need to be dialling as soon as they open the lines, their Web site says between ?.56 and ?.02 does this mean dead on or any time between when they announce it ? however good antisipation is required.

By the way Magic 105.4 fm are earning a fortune out of all of us, much more than the �100 per hour they raise the prize by which is why they have picked someone obscure. Maybe it's really a Man !

The times I have got through have always been dead on ?:56 - mostly luck but a couple of times I dialled 7 seconds before the speaking clock got to 56 (sad, I know). I have mostly been dialling from work but my home bill came in today and there are �93 worth of calls to magic - 40 mins in total, so they are really raking it in!

I don't think its a man - I've got a recording of it and its almost certainly a woman, but you never know. I still feel its got to be somebody quite famous otherwise it could go on forever!

Just to sidetrack a bit, Capital radio closed their Sound competition today with nobody winning it because apparently they had loads of complaints about them being 'insensitive to the London bombings' so they closed the comp and donated the prize money to the Bombing Fund.

The more clues i get, the more i believe it's Holly Marie Combs. I still could be wrong but i have real solid clues and i am not simply guessing which celebrity hasn't been said yet.

Barbara4003 you may be naturally lucky because you have been through to the studio more than once. Would you like to try Holly(ofcourse if you have little doubts about your chosen celebrity)

I wrote to Magic asking them to allow all six people who get thorugh to the studio to have a chance to say their guess. They wrote back and politely said the game is more exciting the way it is and secondly they need to get back to playing music and not to spend much time on the game.

If my guess is wrong, i still believe the winning name has 'rie' and 'lee' or 'lly'

Sharptongue, it;s the pronounciation. ''lly' and 'lee' have the same pronounciation. I think the winning name has that pronounciation somewhere. 'rie' is a totally different pronounciation which suggests to me, the winning name has both 'lee/lly' and 'rie' .

Having said that, i am out of the game after running a phone bill of �160.00. I wish someone here wins the money. It would be good consolation for me.
