I met Julie Goodyear in a club in Manchester. She elbowed me out of the way at the bar and swore at me. I wasn't a big fan of her before this incident and even less of a one after it!
On the positive side I have spoken to Keith Duffy (ex boyzone and Ciaran in Corrie) on phone and my husband has done business with him and he is one of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet.

Hi Peri, I thought that that would be the case.Any time I have seen him interviewed he has always been very likeable.Especially when he has been talking about autism, when he has been so eloquent.
i don't know if you would concider him a celeberty but justin williams a hockey player, he is engaged to my husbands cousin. anyway he's a great guy. he started playing for the philladelphia flyers. don't know what he's doing now. was playing in canada.

I used to work in a motorway service station and in drove Reg Morely who at the time was in Coronation Street.  I was a bit giddy and pleased to see him, spotting 'famous' people brightened our dull day.  After fuelling his pink caddy(!) he came in to pay and literally threw his money at me.  The only word he uttered was 'receipt' and held out his paw - so I threw his receipt at him.

Where are you now Reg eh!?!   Advertising windows, that's where, you @rse!   Oh how the mighty have fallen

Paul McCartney and his family have a farm near where I was brought up, and so they shopped in our town while there.  I think I served all of them at one time or another in the shop where I worked and loads of local tradesmen etc did work on their home.  I thought they were the most pleasant and unassuming family you could hope to meet, if a little eccentric at times.
I was on the shuttle plane from Heathrow to Edinburgh, which was delayed taking off, because one passenger had not turned up. It was Carol Smilie. They duly found her, and on she stormed, moaning about her seat (aisle not window) and generally pulling rank "Don't you know who I am" etc. The stewardess didn't take any grief though- she simply said "If you had checked in on time, you could have chosen where you are sitting." She was like a quiet little mouse after that. Don't take any grief off these "celebrities"- stand up to them, and you'll be fine - that's my view.

Thanks folks, great answers! It's always interesting to hear these wee stories! I have to say Boo,I met Julie Goodyear in a restaurant in Ibiza when my friend insisted on going over to her table for an autograph.Although she was in the middle of her meal, she signed autographs and chatted about my friends prickly heat problem on her arms!Myabe I got her on a good day!

I now work for someone who  I adored when I was a teenager. I had the posters on my wall, wrote fan letters, tried to dress like them and the whole hero worship thing. I thought working for them would be a dream job as they still in the spotlight after all these years but now I think what a d***head ! I wont say who, I'm a PA and I don't want to get fired.
