I swear I am not making this up, as I remember discussing this with friends at school in the late 70s...but at that time there was a kids quiz/challenge programme called The Jocks and The Geordies (or at least that was what the two teams were called). One thing I remember about it was at the end of the show the quizmaster/MC used to do a headstand into a bowl of custard - for no reason I could ever recall...is anyone else on here old enough to remember this too and give me a programme title/a little more detail about it?

No, I *knew* someone would post that...I was a Dandy reader at the time too, and another thing which is verifying this programme's existence to me is that I remember noticing that the two teams had the same name as a Dandy strip...
