Quick question on Islam
Do female worshipers allowed in an mosque? As everytime I see footage of people praying in an mosque they always seem to be men.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Click here for an informative website. Basically, women are allowed in the mosque - though that does not happen in certain countries - but in an area separate from the men. That is why you do not see them.
Muslims aren't that different from some other religiions, e.g. orthodox Jewish synagogues have separate areas for women - usually women sit in the gallery, or at weddings on the right hand side of the building if you are facing the altar.
And some very strict evangelical churches have men sitting on the separate side of the central aisle from women and children.
