Since the school had not previously put a restriction on what could or what could not be worn, were they out of order in making the pupil remove the said uniform?

Pity this piece was in the Guardian, I am sure if it had been the Daily Mail, they may have shown a photograph on the pupil in the Hitler Uniform complete with a little moustache, instead of just showing us the real thing, as if we had forgotten what Hitler looked like.

I might have drawn the line at anyone dressed as a concentration camp commandant, say. But Hitler was a leading figure in the war and can hardly be ignored.

Pretty poor form by the school. Perhaps the parent and family could have checked first, but even then I think the school's in the wrong.
