I am taking a cruise next March and there is a "Ladies Night" ..I have not come across this before on any cruise I have taken before. Can anyone enlighten me please.
A ‘Ladies Night’ is an occasion on which females can get a bit tipsy and then make ‘Phwooaar’ noises and sexually suggestive comments to males in precisely the same thoroughly justified way as does NOT apply the other way round.
Hope this helps.
Coming from a slightly more men only society
and kloofje have a few S A relations....
SOme dinners are men-only and they have ladies nights when ladies come dolled up in evening dresses, stoles and so on and have a good time, and the men are meant to be attentive.
I went to one at a London Royal College, in 2000 and all the ladies got together at the end and agreed collectively not to come to another !!!!
collective desire not to meet husbands' colleagues....
If it is a cruise on the Nile - then I think, as it gets quite cold,
between main course and pud, you go onto the deck and watch Cairo burn.....
Gosh, didn`t expect such a response.I will be sailing from Cape Town, actually,I sail in April after spending sometime in South Africa .It is on the P&O Aurora, the last sector of her World Cruise.
I don`t know WHAT to expect then!!!!
There are four formal nights.and four(here the name escapes me),eg:Country and Western,60`s/70`s ,Tropical and another such night.
Loads of dressing up!!!!
