whatever happened to David Sneddon the fame academy winner a couple of years ago? is he busking in Glasgow again?

Found this on the net, its a reality tv rich list. Its almost a year out of date, but unless old Snedders has been spending like theres no tomorrow i doubt he's back busking just yet!

how on earth did he manage to accrue that amount? he only released one single i think and the record company would have taken most of that wouldnt they? poor mite.

As I said, he moved into songwriting. That's where the money is, and I'm guessing he's getting a lot more from the royalties of songs he's written for more popular artists, than he ever did performing himself.

i looked up his website and seems to be doing quite well. he has a flicky more 'grunging' fringe and has put on a few pounds (not overly) but seems happy

David Sneddon is doing very nicely thank you, both as a songwriter - he is one of the co-writers on a track called 'The Message' on the debut album by soul artist Nate James - and also as a performer. In past the year he has been gigging with his indie style rock band, The Sham - including playing to a crowd of 40,000+ at the New Year celebrations in Aberdeen. However, even as I speak, he is back in the studio recording a new solo album.
