In the UK, I would choose the S Coast of Fife, Crail to Anstruther to St Andrews triangle, the Cotswolds and the James Heriot country......even though I love the coastal strip from Oban and all the way around to Inverness, it is remote as to services and the rest. Your neck of the woods, Psybbs, I do not know - I have always enjoyed visiting Dublin South and again the coastal strip all the way around.

I'd move back to Ireland if there was work. It's also sooooo expensive it makes airport prices look cheap.

Hi Boxy, Cyprus would be my choice, DT, I delivered to many parts of the UK, but Devon / Cornwall is my place in the UK, One Pace of life, Fkc it, it will do tomorrow, It's a pity we can not think like that, wish I could.

Already done it, in retrospect Spain or Portugal might have been better but who knows? As it is we are settled in here, lots more friends, more going on, summer is just a social whirl....no regrets at all. Been asked to provide live music for the market every Sunday, that wouldn't have happened in the UK.

Tried it once The grass is greener and all that Came back to the uk and haven't looked back. Holidays are good/Long holidays to the places you think you might like to live.Thenhome to the old rocker and open fire!
