I had a cracking day at Alton Towers yesterday, it along with Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Thorpe Park and many more are called theme parks, why?

because the original ones were designed around a theme and most still are...Disney world, Dollywood, Cadburyland, Digger world, Legoland and so on.
