The man is an utter disgrace, a shameful megalomanic money grabber whose narcissistic traits lead him to constantly seek what he considers to be glorification in roles he is inherently unsuited to whilst creaming off as much money and accolades as possible.

Blair has long since out lived his usefulness in this role. As Prime Minister he had a Good working relationship with Ehud Barak and Yasser Arafat. But things change. Netanyahu is now in charge in Israel, and he and Blair never got on. Arafat has died and the harder line Hamas have no faith in Blair who they see as an Israeli puppet.

If Blair had any dignity, he would have resigned long ago.
