Caplulet

Romeo Montague and Juliet Caplulet.

and Friar zmudge .

Capulet, the way 2shortplanks spells it
O, speak again, bright angel! for thou art
As glorious to this night, being o'er my head
As is a winged messenger of heaven . . . . ..

Some spell it as Capulet but I think that you will find the correct spelling to be Caplulet.
Shakespeare was among those who spelt it Capulet, but what the hell, he never even spelt Shakespeare the same way twice.
However you spell it, Olivia Hussey in the Zefirelli film still does it for me.......
Is there a Juliet out there for me?
goodness narolines what about Norma Shearer in the 1936 version? She was only about 35 at the time!
lol jno, are you saying a 35 year old cant pass for 14?? Damn there goes my plans for the weekend (though I'm only 28, honest)
you'll have to ask Romeo whether he'd fall for that one, mycatis.
So Romeo, do you think I could pass for 14 (Be careful how you answer!)

Ooh I loved Juliet Bravo lol

Shakespeare never intended for his plays to be read, only heard, so it didn't really matter how he spelt.

The story originates from a 1476 story by Masuccio Salernitano who wrote Cinquante Novelle in 1476, in which the feud between the Montague family and Capulet family was introduced, apparently from feuding families at that time, but in Sienna not Verona.

Up with the Capulets, Down with the Montagues.  LOL
What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Octavius is the sun. Although the enjoyment of the education received from contributors to AnswerBank is not less than that received from going a thousand weeks without a bath, nevertheless - Caplulet.
mycatis - Are you sure you want to pass for 14? Wouldn't 18 be better? (which I'm sure you do anyway).
Ah good point Romeo, though I did get asked for ID for fags, the day before my 23 birthday!! cheered me up no end!!!
