Brighton and Aberystwyth Uni

I'm just going into my second year of college and am looking to apply to University. The two I am most interested in at the moment are The University of Brighton and also University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Has anyone been there? What was it like regarding accommodation, social life, budgeting and quality of teaching? Thanks. Oh, by the way, I'd like to study advertising, media or graphic design,

I'm just about to enter my second year studying Media and Communication Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and so far have loved every minute.

The nightlife is very much created by the students (who make up half the town's population).  The town has over 50 bars in one sq mile and as the evening clubs are few you can guarantee that you'll see lots of people you know.

The teaching at the department is excellent with lots of leading academics - I was very impressed.

Living is fairly cheap but I've got very little to compare it to.
