Is Charlie Drake still alive?

Every day, certain newspapers publish a list of the names of well-known people whose birthday it is. A friend and I always make a note of these on days when we know we will meet in our local, so that we can each propose a birthday toast to our 'icon' of the day. Quite recently, mine was 'Charlie Drake', so unless he has passed on - which heaven forbid! - in the past few weeks, he's still with us. I seem to remember, also, that he recently attended the memorial service for Spike Milligan.
