///he'll be watching from home and enjoying the show///

ah, so he's the one, I knew someone somewhere must enjoy it!
I wish him well very soon.
The link refers to him as Sir Terry. This is incorrect as his knighthood is purely honorary. Not being a British citizen he may not use the title 'Sir'.
About time he gave up working and let younger presenters have a go!!

Wogan was appointed an Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1997 and elevated to an Honorary Knight Commander of the same order (KBE) in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2005. After asserting his right to British citizenship (he retains his Irish citizenship) that year, the knighthood was made substantive on 11 October 2005, allowing him to use the style "Sir".

// Honorary appointees who later become a citizen of a Commonwealth realm can convert their appointment from honorary to substantive, then enjoy all privileges of membership of the order including use of the title of Sir and Dame for the senior two ranks of the Order. An example is Irish broadcaster Terry Wogan, who was appointed an honorary Knight Commander of the Order in 2005 and on successful application for dual British and Irish citizenship was made a substantive member and is now styled as Sir Terry Wogan KBE.[3][4]//

You mean our crossed posts,posts,posts?
Didn't know that. So good you had to say it thrice!
Oh, now I see, magnifying glass steamed up - sorry.
I hope it's nothing serious, I really like our Tel.
I won't be watching it, but I hope he gets well soon.
Hope it is not serious but we might just watch some of it now.

They could have worded it better
Why is the BBC Children in Need advert voiced by an American accent? Disgraceful! It's a purely British show.
Do you get a special medal from the Ed,Boatie for having all 6 of the "latest Posts" in your name. ;-)
:o}
Time CiN was put to sleep. It's just boring. Do you watch it?
