How Many Cups Of Coffee....

How many cups of coffee can you make from a kilo of coffee beans?

Had this question at a quiz night earlier, I can't remember the answer but we were miles off!

Surely that would depend on how you like your coffee and what style of coffee you are making.

A google search shows results between 41.7 and 142 cups.

I don't think there is a definite answer.

And it would depend on the "grind" of the beans, coarse, fine etc.

I think the answer was between 40 and 80, but I honestly can't remember.
