Starvation, thirst, and plague.

Yep, there is a lack of resources to cope with everyone, and a huge strain on what resources they do have.  Also, higher risk of disease, especially in the shanty towns (called Bustee's there I think..), which is where more people will be moving to. House prices near to the shanty towns fall. The shanty towns are pretty dangerous, and big fire hazards because of all the houses being made of all sorts of rubbish.

There's lots really you can say about the lack of a good water supply, sanitation, very poor living conditions, heath problems, unemployment, lack of housing etc

Oh how I miss Geography....
