Can't believe that you have sent it to her so many times in different formats, but she can't open it. There must be something wrong with her computer. having a similar problem with Easyjet at the moment. Just completed a Compensation Claim form (for expenses incurred because a flight was cancelled and could not get another one until over 24 hours later!). Sent all the receipts in pdf to them and they emailed to say that they could not open them, and please can we send them in "jpeg" format. So we did - now they can't find them at all. So I've just photocopied them all and sent them to Easyjet Customer services in the post - with a very strongly worded letter!
Hope you manage to get your c.v. to your employer, dieseldick .... Cheers, Chox.

A few suggestions:
1. Try saving your document into an older version of Word format (by using 'Save As', instead of 'Save', and choosing an appropriate format). You might have more luck with a .doc file than with a .docx one.
2. If you're currently right-clicking on the file and then selecting 'Send To > Email', try opening a blank email first and then using 'Add Attachment'. (I've no idea why that should make a difference but I've read about circumstances where the 'Send To' method ends up with corrupt files).
3. Try sending your document from a different email account. (Sometime certain email services seem to corrupt files, whereas others don't). If you're not already using it, try GMX:
http:// www.gmx .co.uk/
4. Upload your c.v. to a file sharing site and send your employer a link to it. (Again, GMX can help. Simply open an account and use the 'File Storage' option).
5. Use snail mail!

I'm an unsteady person who changes the job every year. Really I don't care about but the most irritable thing in my case is that every time I need to surf for days on employer's websites. It was difficult until I found a high-quality template from https:/ /copymy resume. com/. With this template, I've done a universal resume that fits almost every job. And I never had problems with resume sending because the format is adopted for all OSs. Of course, the employer's PC must not have windows 95 for opening your resume.
